Central Arizona's College campus on Old West Highway in Apache Junction Arizona often holds classes such as "How to Put the Wow into Your Yard", "Winter Flower and Vegetable Gardening in the Desert" and "Container Gardening". These classes are wonderful for new Gold Canyon area residents who are unfamiliar with the plants that do best here in the desert.
