The Boyce Thompson Arbortum is a 320-acre living classroom located off of Highway 60 just east of Gold Canyon. Their mission is "to instill in people an appreciation of plants through the fostering of educational, recreational, research and conservation opportunities associated with arid land plants." ADMISSION is $7.50 for adults and $3 for ages 5-12, and free to children younger than age 5. PICNIC tables and grills are available for visitors to use.
